You must give up what you want to get, it’s true - you must detach..
My long time dream of living in the tropics has been realized - and I am so excited to be here. We got to our new home in hot and sunny Philippines a few days ago!
For those of you who know my story of meeting my husband in Thailand back in 2013 - at a bar named Eden while we were dancing…
Then I moved to England so we could be together for the last 12 years - you will know that I have been craving to live in the tropics ever since. (more on that further down)
I used to want it SO much that energetically I pushed it away.
Spiritual law is a funny thing - it’s so filled with paradoxes and nuances - seeming contradictions it can be hard to know what is true.
You’ve probably heard how important it is to have a burning desire - yet if you want it too much you’re attached.
My take is it’s more about conviction. Desire is great when combined with the certain knowing that your word is Law.
This means you don’t WANT because want can only bring more to want.
So you must not want - what to do instead?
You must choose with a nonchalant shrug of the shoulders and the certain knowing that when you FEEL the energy of having, of yes, of ease and grace - then what you want is being brought forth from the spirit realm

More about The Philippines!
My husband and I traveled 24 hours to get from England to The Philippines. We now live 3 hours away from the Clark airport in the North of the main island, Luzon.
It unfolded perfectly - we didn’ t have to force a thing.
It’s like the Universe, or God herself invited us to come here.
We got an invite through a friend of my husbands who he didn’t even know well, but had been friendly with when we first lived in Cornwall England…
At the start of 2025 he invited us and said we should come and live - so we said YES.
One thing led to another and soon we were able to get our passports and tickets to fly…
We were offered a lift from the airport here AND we are subleasing our friend’s apartment while he is in England sorting out an English visa for his Filipino wife and children…
So we didn’t have to do anything.
I’ve just rocked up to countries before and usually have to rent a place, or I’ve couchsurfed before - and then do your best to find a cheap rental locally while you’re there…
But it was all set up for us.
And this brings me to the start of this message - we had to give up what we wanted to get it.
When I made England a true home - within a coupe of years thats when things were able to change and shift.
Once I detached from needing to leave to be happy, needing to live in the warmth to be happy… And learned how to be happy then and now in England - that’s when the next level of reality could drop in - because we manifest what we are not what we want.
When I was so unhappy because my soul loves the hot weather and warm ocean - all I could manifest was more unhappiness - I couldnt manifest my ideal location.
