About 15 years ago I got all these tests done for chronic fatigue.
My tests came back with lots of problems…
As the doctor handed me the prescription I asked her.. How long will I have to take these for?
She looked me straight in the face and told me OH FOREVER. YOU’LL ALWAYS HAVE THIS.
I threw the script for those sick pills in the trash bin. Went home and healed myself back to full energy and health within 8 freaking months.
I am so grateful I did not believe her for even a second.
As for the journey of healing my chronic fatigue, it was really a mix of several things… But ultimately it all came to a head through a series of DECISIONS I made.
The first thing was when the dr told me I would be sick forever. I just knew it wasnt true so my strong decision against her activated something in me (I guess I can thank her for that!)
Then soon after I had this profound realization that I had cut off my energy flow because I had so much guilt and regret over the terrible things Id done to people when I was younger… So I forgave myself as much as I could for that… And I realized I was just so mean to myself and never enjoying anything. For instance, if I was to walk anywhere I always had to try to walk fast to lose weight - instead of just enjoying the walk.
It sounds small and insignificant from the outside but shifting that intention was a big game changer for me
That was the main thing that led to the physical changes… I had been vegetarian for 4 years for ethical reasons, but it turns out my body really needs meat. So I gave in and started eating steak, which really helped me. I could taste how nourishing it was for me
One of things among many that caused the chronic fatigue was the deppo injection birth control shot I had. Within a short while after my energy totally shut down, so I think it was time as well, as it would have worn off.
I then decided to move to a new place which was on top of a massive hill…. I had to walk up it at least once a day, sometimes 3 or 4 days. I would have to stop all the way up. At first every few steps - and eventually that kick started my energy too.
And I started taking pride in my appearance again and just started feeling better about myself during all of this
So it was a lot of little things that came together - but it all started with the energetic snap from those decisions I made and realizations I had 🙂
Years later, a lung condition I’d had since childhood (of recurring bronchitis most years) came to a head and became a constant chronic illness, which almost killed me.
I healed that naturally with a powerful trauma healing tapping plus breathwork method, which I share with my clients (and have developed upon) to this day! But that’s a story for another time… 😉Â
